Weekly Open Green

Commencing on Tuesday 12th April 2016 from 2pm onwards and every Tuesday thereafter one of our members, Lorraine Douglas, assisted by other club members will run an afternoon social bowls session. This will not be competitive and is designed to help new players have a go at bowls and generally familiarise themselves with how it is played. The rules are simple and straightforward and all standards are catered for. Those who have played the game before are also invited to attend these sessions. There is no pressure – it is up to individuals to progress at their own speed, decide what standard they wish to achieve and how frequently they wish to play. Bowls are available for those who do not have their own bowls

Lorraine was brought up in Oxenhope and is a member of several of the club’s teams. She has been a member of Oxenhope Bowling Club for many years, along with husband Trevor and son George. She is the club’s Child Protection Officer. To get in touch with Lorraine please click on the contact tab.
